I’ve always believed that the right workout doesn’t just change your body—it changes how you feel in your life. For me, that workout has always been the reformer.
From the very first time I stepped onto a reformer, I was hooked. (Well it took me a bit to get the hang of it so don’t be hard on yourself if you feel the same). There was something about the precision, the control, and the deep, full-body engagement that felt different from anything else I had tried. It wasn’t just a workout—it was a method that truly reshaped my body, strengthened me from the inside out, and made me feel confident, strong, and aligned.
That belief was tested when I experienced a devastating injury and broke my calcaneus (heel bone) in the summer of 2025. Due to my limitations, was forced to shut down my plant shop and focus 100% on my recovery. It was one of the most challenging seasons of my life, both physically and mentally. Getting back to “normal” felt overwhelming, and I knew I needed something that would rebuild my strength safely and effectively.
The reformer became my path back.
It allowed me to move in a way that was supportive, controlled, and intentional. Step by step, it helped me regain strength, stability, and confidence in my body again. More than anything, it reminded me of what I was capable of—even after something that felt like such a setback.
Hudson has always been home to me. I was born and raised here, and after time away, I felt a strong pull to come back—closer to my family, my roots, and the community that shaped me. Being here feels grounding in a way that’s hard to put into words.
That’s why opening this studio here means so much.
I am beyond excited to bring this method, this feeling, and this experience to Hudson. My hope is that this space becomes more than just a place to work out—that it becomes a place where people feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to themselves and our community.
Because I know firsthand: the right movement can truly change everything.
